The Most Effective Acne Treatments on the Market Today

Fighting pimples and blackheads is not easy. Although there are several treatments against acne and unclear skin, it remains a big mystery, what products are the best.

Millions of people all over the world suffer from the unsightliness that is Acne. Acne is something that most of us go through at one time or another. It is definitely something that should be avoided if possibly but some things are just meant to be. Depending on your skin type and genetics you can be more or less prone to having acne.

Acne is caused by pore blockage found usually under the skin. It is usually caused by bacteria and infection leading to irritation and redness. This is when the acne forms. Depending on your skin type there are different types of acne treatments to combat this.

There are a couple of different skin types out there, with different acne treatments for each. Each acne treatment requires a strict regiment to follow and it is up to you to be disciplined and follow them. If you do not follow them and do not stay disciplined with it the likelihood of reducing your acne drops, but if you do decide to stick with your acne treatment you can usually find that you will end up seeing positive results within the first few days.

There is Oily skin, which is most likely the most difficult to maintain as oil is one of the things that causes acne to form. Oily skin can be treated with a strict regiment that helps prevent the skin from being overly oily at all times. Acne treatment for oily skin can vary from astringents to acne product usage on a daily basis. There are also opportunities for medications to be prescribed as well depending on the level of oil you have.

There is Dry skin, which is also a difficult way to fight acne. Most of the time the acne is caused from under the skin, but in this case dry skin that is due to a lack of moisture can easily cause cracking and or irritation. This cracking and irritation leaves an opening for bacteria and or infection to penetrate and cause Acne. There are different acne treatments for dry skin as well. They vary from moisturizers to retinoids.

Normal skin is probably the easiest to treat as far as acne is concerned. Normal skin is the type of skin most people would wish to have if they could as there is not an excess of dryness or too much oil either. Treatment can vary from prescribed medications to off-the-shelf acne treatments depending on how your body reacts to the given acne treatment.
